Miss Colleen 2025
Reese Turner

The Irish Congress is proud to announce Miss Resse Turner as the 2025 Miss Colleen. Reese enjoys playing beach volleyball, taking long walks with her rescue dog, and quality time with her family and friends. She volunteers time with the Street Dog Coalition of Los Angeles and the San Diego Humane Society.
She is currently a candidate for a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine, hopes to earn a Master of Public Health by 2028, and become a board-certified shelter medicine veterinarian. She hopes that as Miss Colleen, she can inspire folks to become involved with supporting charities that help animals through community events.
“My Irish heritage is honestly one of the most important things in my life,” she said of becoming the 2025 Miss Colleen. “I think it’s what’s helped me to achieve my goals. So, to be a representative of the Irish community in San Diego is a huge honor.”

The San Diego St.Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival is proud to announce:
Riley Pidgeon as Miss Colleen 2024
The Irish Congress of Southern California is proud to announce Riley Pidgeon as the 2024 Miss Colleen. Riley is a San Diego native and enjoys sporting and volunteering for Football for the World. Irish heritage has always been prominent in her family. One of her fondest memories is spending time at the St. Patrick’s Day event with her dad. As she has grown to adulthood and is now creating her own traditions, she is excited to get more involved with the community as the Miss Colleen.
“It is so important to continue to surround ourselves and loved ones with our rich cultural heritage,” she said. “There’s nothing quite like the music, dancing, food, and art, and I feel very grateful that these traditions were a large part of my childhood, and I will continue to share them proudly as I get older.”
She also looks forward to representing the women of the San Diego Irish Community and being an example for young girls to look to for inspiration and confidence to pursue her interests.
