Judging Criteria Awards will be given after the parade. Please see our website for judging categories and more information. Entries should be decorated for St Patrick’s Day and incorporate the theme of the Parade, “Here, There, Irish Culture Everywhere!”

By placing a checkmark next to each term, you acknowledge the you have read and agree to the terms presented. All terms must be agreed to for you application to be accepted.

Per City of San Diego policy, NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES are allowed to be present or consumed on any entry in the parade, on the streets, or in the staging. You are also strictly prohibited from throwing, tossing, or spraying any object, fluid, or substance from any vehicle of float.

CITY OF SAN DIEGO FIRE DEPT. POLICY has been read in detail, particularly those requirements concerning floats, permits, and drivers. By placing a check you agree to fully comply with SDFD policy.

I/We agree to work with the parade marshals to prevent large gaps among entries during the parade. This includes the area where the judges are located on the parade route. Excessive gaps will result in not being invited back next year! Please MIND THE GAP.

Vehicle entries must have valid insurance and any driver must have a valid driver’s license. A maximum of six vehicles is allowed per entry and must be able to drive side by side in the parade. For safety reasons, there will be a limit to the number of vehicles allowed by entry.

I/We agree to allow the ICSC to use photos, videos, and other media for promotional purposes. I/We acknowledge that this consent to use images and/or recordings is being made solely for the benefit of the organization (ICSC) and comes without any expectations of monetary compensation or other benefit to me.

ENTRY FEE in the amount of $75 PAID ONLINE/CHECK Payable to ICSC. Your canceled check will be your receipt for tax purposes.

Our inclusive parade welcomes all cultures. No discrimination, protests, or demonstrations allowed.

I/We confirm that the information submitted regarding the entry in the St Patrick’s Parade is correct and accurate. I/We hereby release (1) The Irish Congress of Southern California, Inc. (ICSC), its Board of Directors, members, volunteers, and representatives: (2) The City of San Diego and its elected officials, employees, agents, and representatives, and (3) agents and employees of Balboa Park from any and all liabilities whatsoever for personal injury, property damage or loss resulting from the entry and participation in this event. I/We hereby agree that the ICSC shall have full authority in the selection and unit coordination of all entries. I/We further agree to abide by the Rules and Regulations governing participation in this event as explained in the ICSC Letter accompanying this application.
